Does this sound familiar?
You have heard about peptides. You want to know what is real.
You may have seen peptides mentioned for recovery, sleep, energy or healthy aging, and found a lot of bold claims and very few straight answers.
- Recovery that takes longer than it used to
- Sleep and energy that are not what they were
- Changes in body composition that effort alone has not shifted
- Uncertainty about what is safe, legal and appropriate for you
- A wish for guidance from people who will tell you honestly
If that sounds familiar, wanting careful, honest information is a good instinct. Prescription peptides are medications, and decisions about them belong with a licensed provider who knows your health history.
A different way to see it
Why peptides are never the whole answer
Peptides act as signals in the body, and signals work within a system. If your nervous system is stuck in constant alarm, sleep is short and daily habits are working against you, no single treatment is likely to carry the load on its own.
It is difficult to make lasting change when your nervous system is in a threatened state.
That is why peptide therapy at Integrated Functional Health is built on education and coaching. Where an independent provider decides a peptide is appropriate, it becomes one part of a wider plan for sleep, stress, nutrition and movement.
How peptide coaching works
Regulate. Integrate. Optimize.
Coaching sessions are 45 minutes, at our Bettendorf clinic or online. Any medical care comes from your independent provider, and the coaching follows the three principles behind everything at Integrated Functional Health.
-
01
Regulate
Settle the stress response and support sleep, so your body feels safe enough to rest, recover and respond to change.
-
02
Integrate
Help the different parts of your brain work together for better function across mind and body, so your daily choices support the plan you and your provider agree on.
-
03
Optimize
Build nutrition, movement and recovery habits for the long run, with clear education about any treatment your provider recommends.

- You want a plan that includes sleep, stress, nutrition and movement, not only a treatment
Probably not the right fit if
- You want a prescription without a medical assessment
- You are looking for a quick fix or a guaranteed result

Your guide
Matt DeWild, RN
Matt is a registered nurse, massage therapist, internationally board certified hypnotist and hypnosis instructor, with over 30 years of experience in healthcare, from emergency rooms, trauma centers and flight nursing to mental health and addictions. He is an owner of Integrated Functional Health, the practice he runs with his wife, Molly Hinke-DeWild, LISW, in Bettendorf, Iowa.
In peptide education and coaching, Matt helps you understand your options, prepare good questions for your medical assessment, and build the daily habits that any treatment depends on. He does not prescribe peptides, recommend dosing or dispense medication. Those decisions belong to your independent licensed medical provider. Peptide education sits inside his wider longevity work, alongside sleep, nutrition, movement and recovery.

Questions
Questions about peptide therapy
Does Integrated Functional Health prescribe peptides?
No. Integrated Functional Health provides education and coaching. An independent licensed medical provider reviews your health history, decides whether a peptide is appropriate for you and prescribes when it is. An independent licensed pharmacy dispenses any medication.
What are peptides?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids, the building blocks of proteins. Your body makes many of them naturally, and they act as signals between cells. Some peptide medications are used in healthcare for specific purposes. Whether any peptide is appropriate for you is a medical decision made by a licensed provider.
Are peptides FDA approved?
Some peptides are FDA approved medications for specific uses. Many peptides discussed in wellness care are not FDA approved for those uses, and compounded medications are not FDA approved. Your independent medical provider will explain the status of anything they recommend, along with its possible benefits and risks.
Who is peptide therapy for?
Adults interested in support for areas such as recovery, sleep, energy, body composition or healthy aging, where an independent licensed provider decides it is appropriate. It is not right for everyone, and eligibility is decided at a medical assessment.
Is this available online?
Education and coaching are available at our Bettendorf clinic or online by telehealth. Medical assessments with an independent provider happen by telehealth, and availability can depend on the state where you live.
What happens on the free consult?
It is a 30 minute conversation with Matt, at the clinic or by telehealth. You talk about your goals, your health and what you have already tried, and Matt explains how the medical assessment works. There is no cost, no obligation and no prescription on the consult.
How much does it cost?
Coaching sessions with Matt are $150 each, and the free consult costs nothing. Any medical assessment, prescription or peptide is provided and charged by independent licensed medical providers, and how that works is explained on your free consult, before you decide anything.
